Church get richer despite congregation drop |

Despite falling congregations, Dutch churches managed to boost their income by 1.1% in 2005 to €384.5m, according to the churches’ fund raising umbrella group Kerkbalans. The average amount given per Protestant church member totalled €133 while Catholics donated an average of €25.75, Kerkbalans said.
