| Tensions rise at Suhum as warning shot hits protesting youth |

Tensions are rising high in the Suhum township following the shooting of one of the youth of the town by the police.
The vicitm has been rushed to the Suhum Government Hospital for medical attention.
The police are also reported to be arresting scores of the youth who have blocked the main Suhum-Kumasi road in protest of what they say is a security lax in the town that has seen a series of murders in recent times.
The youths have engaged in scuffles with tear-gas shooting police personnel who have been trying to free the roads to ease built up traffic in the town.
The under siege police received reinforcement from the regional capital, Koforidua.
The town has recorded at least five unexplained murders in recent times, the latest of which is the discovery of the body of a middle aged man on Wednesday morning.
The body was discovered in a plantation of the Suhum Secondary Technical School, the same locality the previous victim, Kwabena Sarfo, also a middle aged man was discovered on Sunday morning.
This latest victim is the fifth person to have been killed under mysterious circumstances in a short while.
Residents of Suhum highly suspect foul play in the death of the victim and according to Samuel Mills, also a resident, the victim seemed to have been murdered earlier and dumped in a stream in the plantation.
He told Joy News at midday that the blood-soaked body had been deposited in a manner that made it difficult to identify it.
Meanwhile the police, who were already investigating the earlier strange killings, had arrived at the scene to begin investigations.
On Monday, the Inspector General of Police Patrick Acheampong ordered investigations into the murders and hours later, the investigators ruled out activities of serial killers in the unexplained murders but promised to get to the bottom of the deaths.
