Former First Lady, Nana Konadu Agyemang Rawlings says government harassment of her 31st December Movement and several of its projects will only harm Ghanaians.
She is a guest of Joy FM’s Super Morning Show.
Nana Konadu tells show host Kojo Oppong-Nkrumah, that in many instances, government agents have asked members of the public with affiliation to the Movement to resign before they are given what they should ordinarily and legally be given.
She says even teachers employed in the movement’s schools are prevailed upon to resign from their post, so the schools would collapse, but as she puts it, “they want to cut their noses to spite their faces.”
She maintained that the government is definitely out to get her; “It is obvious,” for whatever reasons, explaining that perhaps it is because she is outspoken and the NPP government may be averse to women who would not be quiet when things go wrong.
But she is not afraid to go to prison, because “I have done nothing wrong.”
