The NDC Member of Parliament for Tamale South, Mr. Haruna Iddrisu who has kept quiet for the past one and a half weeks over the alleged assassination plot against him which was widely reported in the media has finally broken his silence. Speaking to Peace FM today, Haruna Iddrisu said he remained silent because he was in consultations with his close relations and some members of his constituency on the alleged murder plot on his life.
Mr. Iddrisu challenged the two newspapers, the Ghanaian Observer and the Gye Nyame Concord which first broke the story to mention publicly the names of those involved in the plot to assassinate him. Meanwhile the NDC MP has also challenged critics within the NDC who are describing him as a mole within the NDC to provide proof to that.
The Statesman newspaper published in today’s edition that some people within the NDC see the Tamale South MP as a mole planted by the NPP and even suspect that the murder plot was planted by the MP himself. But Haruan Iddrisu said he is still a committed NDC Member of Parliament.
