Samia Snubs Mills’s Scouts |
12/20/2008 |

Investigations reveal that scouts sent by night to court Kwame Nkrumah’s daughter, Samia Nkrumah, in an effort to benefit the National Democratic Congress with a chunk of the Western region’s Convention People’s Party’s votes, have been snubbed in a drama of reprisal politics by activists of the CPP in the region.
Trailing by more than 100,000 votes in the December 7, 2008 presidential and parliamentary elections the NDC has, since the declaration of results by the electoral commissioner, Dr Afari Gyan, made subtle attempts not only in using wicked propaganda to break the resolve of the ruling NPP.
The NDC propaganda has been perpetrated in preventing the NPP from repeating the feat they performed in 2000. It is also intended at painting the NPP in such terrible light that Ghanaians would be compelled to dump them for the NDC at any cost.
Sources at Jomoro indicated that soon after the defeat of the NDC’s Lee Ocran, the NDC, sensing danger in losing a huge chunk of votes in the Western region, decided quietly to send respectable citizens and opinion leaders to apologize to Samia Nkrumah over the crazy act of shit bombing perpetrated against her by activists of the NDC and which was intended at intimidating the daughter of Ghana’s first President.
According to our intelligences sources, the emissaries of the NDC, which has prided itself in “winning the highest number of region,†first sent a church elder to see one member of Samia’s constituency executives.
Unfortunately, that constituency executive member has had near-violent brushes with some of the NDC cadres, who the CPP activists suspect were responsible for the shit, bombing of the offices of the CPP candidate’s office at Jomoro. The Heritage was told that Samia’s angry boys could do nothing but politely walk the church elder away in protest.
The influence of Samia Nkrumah in the Jomoro constituency has been tremendous sicne she stormed the constituency contest for the seat that had been held by the NDC’s Lee Ocran.
Lee Ocran, who had felt threatened by the presence of Samia Nkrumah on the campaign turf and political contest, did what the NDC has been noted for – dump faecal matter on the premises of Samia’s constituency office in Jomoro. The CPP has not official endorsed any candidate for the December 28 run-off.
