Mills to be buried at Flagstaff House 7/29/2012

The Minister of Communications, Haruna Iddrisu has indicated that the late President J.E.A Mills would be buried at the Flagstaff Staff House, Accra.

President John Dramani Mahama was said to have taken the decision which would see to it that a portion of the Flagstaff House is dedicated to the burial of Presidents and other high ranking officials of the country.

Haruna Iddrisu disclosed this on Joy FM and Multi TV’s news analysis programme, Newsfile Saturday.

Haruna Iddrisu’s disclosure put to rest the demands being made by the people of Ekumfi Otuam, Central region (the hometown of Prof. Mills) that the late President be buried in his hometown.


The family has slated August 8-10 for the funeral of the departed President.
