Nana Yaw Duodu to be buried next week |

JOYFM’s deceased business journalist, Nana Yaw Duodu will be buried on Friday October 28, 2005.
The body will be laid in state at the Calvary Baptist Church in Accra for well wishers to pay their last respect to the late Nana Yaw Duodu.
Memorial and burial service will take place at the same church after which he will be interred at the Osu Cemetery.
Nana Yaw Duodu was the business news editor of JOY FM and the Marketing and Public Relations officer of the Ministry of Private Sector Development and PSI, an appointment he took just recently before his demise.
He was 34. He left behind a wife and a three-year-old son.
Nana Yaw Duodu affectionately known in some quarters as Oheneba Duodu was born in 1971 to Professor Mark Duodu, a former GBC TV Director and Madam Christiana Ackom from New Juabeng in the Eastern Region.
Nana Yaw had his primary education in Accra and was subsequently enrolled in Adonten Secondary School for his secondary education.
He moved on to the Ghana Institute of Journalism where he studied Journalism.
He started his professional career at the Ghana Broadcasting Corporation TV newsroom after graduating.
At GTV, he rose through the ranks to become head of the Business Desk until he joined JOY FM in November last year as the station’s business editor.
He also hosted a business discussion programme, Business Trends, which is aired every Wednesday afternoon.
