THIS LATIN American dance with fantastic body swings and movements is catching on with the Ghanaian populace as a form of exercise and entertainment.
Salsa clubs have been formed to teach the dance at a very affordable fee, the instructors commit their time and attention to give value for the money and the caliber of person that troops in for lessons is massively impressive.
There is even a television programme dedicated to the teaching and appreciation of this colourful dance.
It is due to the growing interest in the dance that The Sands Promotions, an event management, PR and marketing group is organizing the 1st National Salsa Dance Championship dubbed "Strictly Salsa" 2006.
Scheduled to take place at the Labadi Beach hotel on Friday 29th December, 2006 with an after party at the La Pleasure Beach Resort.
There is even a guest appearance from KSM and this event that is destined to become an annual event, promises to bring out the Salsa in you!
