Justice Owen crowned winner of SOTF Season II |

The search for the next icon of the stars of the future season II came to a climax on Saturday at the National Theater when Justice Owen, a 25-year- old musician beat three other contestants to take the crown and drive away a brand new VW polo sedan car.
Fredrica Sarfo who performed creditably and was a great contender for the title comfortably took the first runner-up position whilst Claire Asigri came third with and Betty Osie taking the fourth position.
The atmosphere was an all glamorous and exhilarating one at the National Theatre when the MCs, Jessica and Mr. smooth talker Chris who looked sparkling in their outfits came on stage to introduce the content of the show on the night, to the teeming audience.
Performing right after that was four evictee’s together with Irene Logan winner of Stars of the Future I. Isaac and Ernest also evictees from the show delighted fans with a well rehearsed duet.
The search for the next icon started with performances from the four contestants doing African songs of their choice. All did well in their performances generating getting good comments from the regular judges as wells as guest judge Abraham Ohene.
The second segment was dubbed ‘My song Category’ where each contest performed their own written songs. Betty was first to perform followed by Claire then Justice and lastly Frederica.
West Africa Idol winner Timi, in his first performance in Ghana rocked the packed auditorium of the National Theater with his sterling performance making the audience ask for more as he left the stage.
After weeks of performances, the next star icon with 50% from the judges and 50% from the public, Justice was crowned. For his price he drove home a sleek VW Polo salon car from Universal Motors, Twenty million cedis cash, a recording contract and thus becoming an official Charterhouse compeer.
