Diana Hamilton To Embark On Peace Tour |

Diana Hamilton is set to embark on a peace tour across the country. Dubbed the ‘Diana Hamilton Peace Endorsement Tour For 2012 Elections’, it will focus on ensuring that traditional leaders, political leaders, religious leaders, among others demonstrate their commitment to ensure peaceful elections by signing up for this tour. Dian Hamilton, a household name on the gospel music scene in the country, already has three albums to her credit and is working tirelessly to change the trend of gospel music in Ghana. Based on the success of her maiden album, ‘Osoro Be Kasa’, she was nominated for Best Female Vocal Performance and Gospel Song of the Year at the Ghana Music Awards in 2008. The song ‘Ensi wo Yie’ from her second album received nomination for Gospel Song of the Year 2010 at the Ghana Music Awards. Diana Hamilton was also nominated for Best Musician at the Ghana-UK Based Achievement Awards 2010. She was also nominated for Best Female Artiste at the Africa Gospel Awards 2011. With the release her third album, the young music star has managed to prove to gospel music fans that she would soon emerge as one of the most talented gospel artistes in Ghana. Having sung for several years, Diana Hamilton has the voice that appeals to music lovers. In a chat with BEATWAVES, she promised her fans and loved ones to expect bigger things from her in the years to come. Diana, who attended Morning Star School in Accra, Ghana and proceeded to Ghana National College Cape Coast where she had her secondary education, developed her talent for music at a very tender age as a backing vocalist for Francis Agyei and Reverend Jesse Dickson.
