Two of Ghana’s popular highlife musicians, Abrantie Amakye Dede and Charles Kwadwo Fosu, aka Daddy Lumba, have announced their preparations towards the upcoming historic musical concert dubbed ‘Aseda Tour’ at the Miklin Hotel in Kumasi on May 3.
The venue of the event is expected to be filled with thousands of music lovers who would witness the best of Daddy Lumba and Amakye Dede.
The two reigning musicians who would perform with some selected artistes such as Daasebre Dwamena, Kofi B and Okomfo Kwaadee have promised to put up splendid performances at the event.
The two seasoned and award-winning highlife musicians told BEATWAVES that they would put up extraordinary ordinary live musical performances to satisfy their numerous fans, come May 3.
“We always want our fans to get values for paying to come and watch us perform live on stage. That’s why we always try to give our fans the best of Lumba and Abrantie,” they explained.
With his excellent showmanship and colourful costumes, Daddy Lumba is expected to hypnotise music fans with an innovative style that has endeared him to thousands of people throughout the country.
Abrantie Amakye Dede has also remained faithful to highlife music lovers and has a large repertoire that could entertain fans for hours when he mounts the stage to perform.
His live band performances have earned him breathtaking credentials as one of the most thrilling artistes in Ghana today.
The organisers disclosed that Daddy Lumba and Abrantie have packaged their all time favourite and enjoyable songs to be performed live for their dedicated fans who have undoubtedly been part of their success stories over the years.
