Cancer is the most common source of death for children aged between two and 12, says the national statistics office CBS. On average, 400 children are diagnosed with cancer and 100 die every year. Some 60% have either leukemia or a brain tumor. Traffic accidents are the main cause of death for 13 to 15-year-olds.
