Amsterdam office prices down 7% |

The average price for office space per worker in Amsterdam dropped just over 7% from €7,350 in 2005 to €6,830 last year, according to PropertyNL which bases its figures, published in today’s Financieele Dagblad, on a survey by estate agent DTZ Zadelhoff.
Amsterdam is now the world’s 34th most expensive city in terms of office properties, down from 23.
The highest cost for offices is in London (€17,470) followed by Honk Kong (€14,820) and Paris (€13,350). In The Hague and Rotterdam the average office workplace is €4,290 and €4,000 respectively.
Dutch employees enjoy more workspace than those in more expensive foreign locations with an average of 19.5 square metres compared to 10.5 square metres in London, 13 in Hong Kong and 17 in Paris.
