ChristenUnie wants changes to accord 2/7/2007
6 February 2007

AMSTERDAM – The ChristenUnie faction thinks that its party has left “its stamp” on the coalition agreement, but still wants changes on a number of important points.

ChristenUnie faction leader André Rouvoet said this on Monday evening after the faction meeting in which the agreement reached with Christian Democrat CDA and PvdA was discussed.

He did not want to go into detail on what points his six-man faction wants changes. He said the topics included, but were not limited to, medical-ethical matters.

Rouvoet hopes further discussion within the faction will lead to a definite verdict on the accord sometimes on Tuesday.
