AMSTERDAM — Researchers from the University of Groningen warn that those who sleep too little every night risk developing chronic depression, De Telegraaf writes.
People sleep less and less and there comes a moment in their lives when this neglectful behaviour will result in serious consequences, neurobiologist Peter Meerlo said.
"You often see people feeling sleepy during the day is. This leads to depressions even in young children", he added.
