AMSTERDAM — Sources close to lawyer Bram Moszkowicz have indeed leaked information aimed to blacken his former client Willem Endstra''s name, the national criminal investigation service confirmed, Endstra''s family lawyer Hans Koets told the ANP on Friday.
Moszkowicz himself refuses to comment. Until now he has been denying all accusations. Endstra''s relatives are demanding that the Amsterdam Bar Association ban Moszkowicz from acting as defender for Willem Holleeder, the primary suspect in Endstra''s murder.
The Amsterdam Bar Association has already spoken with Moszkowicz about his dubious role in the case. The discussion did not only involve controversial interests, but also Moszkowicz''s failure to keep the information on his former client confidential.
When defending Holleeder, Moszkowicz may not reveal those parts of the case that he had became acquainted with as Endstra''s attorney, he was told by the Amsterdam Bar Association.
