AMSTERDAM — Amstel Beer will pull hundreds of thousands of beer glasses from the market in the coming months. The famous “vaasje” will make way for a different shaped glass.
"We have received numerous complaints from our customers that they are often served Amstel beer in a glass from a different brand. They said they wanted a new recognisable brand glass", Amstel spokesperson Peter Everts told De Telegraaf.
"Besides, we don’t like other companies using our glasses for their beer", he added.
