The division one league board has won its outstanding court case with Kintampo United paving the way for the Zone I sub middle league to commence.
Two more winners would be selected from the six participating clubs to join four other winners, including Great Olympics and Sekondi Wise Fighters to push for promotion to the premiership.
The Zone I Sub-Middle League kicks off on January 7, 2006 at both the Len Clay stadium in Obuasi and the Robert Mensah Park in Cape Coast.
The playoffs continue on January 11 and ends on the 14th.
