The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has lifted the suspension imposed on the country''s top league.

A supporter of Hearts of Oak succeeded in getting a court injunction on Tuesday, restraining the GFA from organising league matches.

Emmanuel Otu Quaye went to court seeking an explanation over some provisions in the GFA''s new laws on player registration.

Both parties have now agreed to settle the issue out of court and the league matches will resume next week.

Quaye was infuriated by the GFA''s decision to reject Hearts'' belated request to register former players Charles Taylor and Ishmael Addo, who returned to the country after sojourns abroad.
