Caf awards shortlist finalised |

The Confederation of African Football (Caf) has finalised the list of nominees for this year''s Caf awards.
The awards ceremony will be held in Ghana on 1 March.
BBC African Footballer of Year Michael Essien is hoping to clinch Caf''s top award to complete a continental sweep for 2006.
The Chelsea midfielder will face stiff opposition from his Ivorian team-mate Didier Drogba.
But last year''s award winner Samuel Eto''o is also in the running to pick up the award for the third consecutive time.
Another keenly-contested category will be the National Team of the Year, with Egypt the favourite for this award.
