Agbeko to handle city rivals clash
Accra, Sept 19, GNA - Justus Agbeko, winner of the 2005 Coca Cola Top Four Referee of the tournament award has been appointed to handle the mid-week clash of the city rivals between Accra Hearts of Oak and Dansoman-based Liberty Professionals. George Saija and A.S Malik from Sefwi and Tamale would assist the Accra-based referee on the lines.

At the dreaded Tamale Kaladan Park where Real Tamale United (RTU) play host to relegation threatened Ebusua Dwarfs, Referee Kwao Sampson of Accra would take the centre stage.

E.B. Baiden and Alex Anim from Accra and Koforidua would provide inspiration from the lines.

When Bofoakwa Tano and Kpando Heart of Lions cross swords in an anticipated gruelling duel at the Sunyani Coronation Park, Christine Tetteh from Mampong would be in the middle and to rely on Kofi Ayeji and George Barlow of Tamale and Kumasi to handle a good game. Cape Coast-based Joe McCarthy would surely stay under the microscope at the Tema Park where Power FC play host to league leaders, Kumasi Asante Kotoko in an uncompromising encounter.

Lovers of good football would be expecting E. Adzakor and S Anyom Tako, from Cape Coast and Berekum to support McCarthy to supervise a decent duel.

At Kade, strugglers Hotspurs and Okwawu United continue their quest for premiership survival in a game to be handled by Joe Debrah of Kumasi with T.O. Kanka also of Kumasi and S. V. Hammond of Accra assisting on the lines.

Ebenezer Ferguson and his men M.A. Pappoe and A.K. Quartey all from Accra would be in charge of the crucial game involving King Faisal and Berekum Arsenals at the Baba at the Baba Yara Sports stadium in Kumasi. At Swedru where Ashantigold trek as guest of Fetteh Feyenoord, Takoradi-based referee Emmanuel Alhassan would direct affairs from the middle with support coming from Michael Fletcher and Edward Nkrumah from Takoradi and Sunyani.
