| Mass Exodus To Hit Hearts |

Accra Hearts of Oak could suffer a mass exodus of star players to foreign clubs in Asia and Europe in the coming days.
Anthony Annan is already in Norway, while the trio of Bernard Don Bortey, Dan Quaye and Ablade Morgan are in China to start a six-month loan to local club, China Choncqine.
The Graphic Sports has established that it was due to Annan''''s Norway trip that the midfielder was not included in the Black Meteors squad in camp preparing for a crucial 2007 All Africa Games qualifier against Burkina Faso next month.
The Graphic Sports further learnt that centre-back Charles Vardis and midfield strongman Francis Jojo Bossman also are possibly on their way out.
Vardis is reportedly heading for trials, whereas Bossman could become the next player to join the growing Ghanaian legion in Israel.
If all goes well, the midfielder who recently renewed his Hearts contract could reunite with old teammate Sammy Adjei at Israeli club Moadon Sports Ashdod.
Late last year Hearts took on the football establishment and got the Onetouch Premiership suspended in a determined bid to register Ishmael Addo and Charles Taylor.
But the precocious striker is now out of their grip and the Tunisian city of Sousse now looks the striker’s next likely destination.
Addo has travelled to Tunisia for a medical at Etoile du Sahel pending a final transfer to the club. Contrary to reports that Hearts finally registered Addo during the second transfer window, the club’s Administration Manager, Mr Ashford Tettey-Oku, revealed that the player demanded a review of his contract but failed to sign the amended contract by the end of the transfer deadline and is, therefore, not a Hearts player.
The decision by Hearts to withdraw from CAF inter-club competition this year many have informed the club’s new position to soften its hold on these key players and release them to foreign clubs and in return shore up the club’s finances with badly-needed cash accruing from transfer fees.
Mt Tettey-Oku told the Graphic Sports that most of the players took advantage of the break in the league programme either to travel abroad for trials or to firm up some deals, noting that if the financial returns are good Hearts would not hesitate to finalise such deals.
"Many of our players have received offers but at the moment we can only talk about a deal and other details if they are successfully concluded."
Hearts'''' recruitment of a number of young players during the second transfer window, he noted, was a "strategic plan" to beef up the team in the light of the imminent departure of certain key members of the playing body.
