Oko Aryee is new Hearts Coach
Former Black Queens coach, Oko Aryee, is expected to be named as Hearts of Oak’s new head coach.

Joy Sports investigations have revealed that the Phobians are expected to seal a deal with the ex-RTU and Black Starlets coach today.

Oko Aryee would be filling the void created by the departure of Cecil Jones Attuquayefio to Liberty Professionals at the beginning of the season.

His appointment will effectively end the search for a substantive coach, which has become urgent with the passing away of Ofei Ansah, who took over from Jones in an acting capacity.

Before Oko Aryee’s appointment, Hearts had set their sights on assistant Black Stars coach, Sellas Tetteh and former King Faisal coach Sanzio Bahner.

Joy Sports gathers that Sellas Tetteh, who also doubles up as assistant to Jones Attuquayefio at Liberty, was unwilling to relinquish his role at Liberty while the Phobians could not meet Bahner’s 4,000-dollar monthly salary demand.

Oko Aryee’s last job was with Ghana’s Black Queens in 2003.
