The Cameroon Football Federation (Fecafoot) has reported Dutchman Arie Haan to Fifa for abandoning his post as the coach of the Indomitable Lions.
The 50-year-old quit his post in February, six months into a two-year contract.
Haan resigned claiming interference from Fecafoot president Mohammed Iya.
But Fecafoot has told football''s world governing body that the Dutchman''s resignation was a breach of contract.
Fecafoot officials claim Haan owes them US$200,000, or four months salary, as he asked to have six months'' wages paid in advance but he had only been in the post two months when he resigned in January.
Even though Haan had been in charge for six months when he resigned, he was accused him of being absent without leave for most of his stay as Indomitable Lions coach.
Fecafoot, who lodged their complaint with Fifa on 9 March, also said Haan had not given 30-day''s notice of his departure.
Fifa has replied calling for documentary evidence to support their claims.
A star in the Johan Cruyff-inspired Dutch teams of the 1970s, Haan took charge of the Indomitable Lions in August and led them to African Nations Cup qualifying victories over Rwanda and Equatorial Guinea.
