Injured Obi out of Nigeria squad |

Nigeria have omitted injury-hit Chelsea midfielder Mikel Jon Obi from their 2008 African Cup of Nations squad to play Niger later this month. The Super Eagles German coach Berti Vogts named a virtually unchanged squad from the one that lost 2-1 to Uganda in Kampala in their Group Three game on Saturday.
Spain-based striker Ikechukwu Uche from Recreativo Huelva has been placed on standby after several calls for his inclusion in the Super Eagles.
