Accra Hearts of Oak and Kumasi Asante Kotoko shared the spoils in their 25th week GT premier league game at the Ohene Djan stadium in Accra.
Kick off to the big game was delayed due to clash of jerseys with the porcupine warriors forced to change their attire.
Finally, the game kicked off after almost an hour and Hearts of Oak were the first to threaten Kotoko with an Amankwah Mireku shot going across the face of goal.
But striker, Nana Arhin Duah scored his second goal of the season to put Kotoko in the lead on the stroke of half time.
Back from recess, Hearts drew level through a spectacular overhead kick by striker, Adjah Tetteh.
Hearts appeared to be on top after Tagoe’s goal and with twelve minutes to go, the phobians came close again but Amankwah Mireku’s goal bound shot was scooped off the line to end the game 1-1.
Kotoko still hold onto the top of the league standings with 48 points with the Hearts following closely on 47 points.
