Bok Nam Kim Invitational Golf tees off on Oct. 15
Accra, Oct. 3, GNA - This year''s Bok Nam Kim Memorial Invitational Golf Championship tees off at the Bok Nam Kim Golf Course at the Airforce Base in Accra on Saturday, October 15. Col. Anthony Ashiagbor (rtd.), Captain of the Club who announced this in Accra on Monday said about 70 golfers are expected to participate in the One-Day 18-Hole Stableford competition which is being sponsored by Afko Imex Ghana Limited.
The championship is being played in memory of Mr Bok Nam Kim, former Chief Executive Officer of Afko who single-handedly sponsored Ghana''s contingent to the 1988 Olympic Games held in Seoul, Korea. He died in 1989.
Mr J.J. Cho, outgoing Chief Executive Officer of Afko Imex under whose leadership the company built the golf course is to be the Special Guest of Honour.
