The topmost attraction as the GT premier league returns today is the clash between Accra Hearts of Oak and Ashanti Gold.
Hearts have risen above the initial setbacks that threatened to put their campaign out of gear and currently occupy top spot on the league table.
Ashgold on the other hand have struggled despite a brilliant start to the season.
But Ashgold coach, Hans Van Der Pluym, says his team needs very little motivation to put up their best performance of the season so far against Hearts.
He said the thrill of beating the league leaders should spur his team on to success.
Hearts will have assistant coach Sampson Lamptey back in charge pending the conclusion of a deal with new coach Oko Aryee.
Benard Don Bortey is also expected to make a league return following after serving a one-month club suspension.
Elsewhere, Kumasi Asante Kotoko are away to Bofoakwa Tano at the Sunyani Coronation Park.
Back-to-base defender, Aziz Ansah is expected to be handed his first league start after a making a return to the Porcupine Warriors.
Third placed Power FC are at home to Okwawu united, while bottom placed Heart of Lions host Ebusua Dwarfs.
Sekondi Hasaacas will hope to extend their unbeaten home run with victory over visiting Berekum Arsenals.
Former table toppers, Feyenoord host Tema Real Sportive at the Swedru Park.
Liberty Professionals trek to Kade for their date with Kade Hotspurs and King Faisal play Real Tamale United at the Baba Yara stadium in Kumasi.
