Kotoko start FA Cup action 1/22/2012

With the heartache of a final loss still lingering, Asante Kotoko will attempt to right the wrongs when they join in the second round of the MTN FA Cup.

And they start off the competition, Sunday, in the Round of 64 against third-tier side Swallah United at the Baba Yara Stadium.

Back in July, the Porcupine Warriors'' only hope of a silverware was extinguished by second tier side, FC Nania in the finals in Accra.

Kotoko are aware of the upsets that the Cup competition can throw out as Swallah hopes to cash in on the big day.

In another FA Cup fixture, Kintampo Sharp Arrows and Bofoakwa will replay their preliminary round fixture at the Kintampo Town Park.

The decision to replay followed a Disciplinary Committee ruling after Bofoakwa protested against the outcome of their defunct game on December 13.

The winner will play Hearts of Oak next Sunday in the Round of 64 stage at either Kintampo or Sunyani Coronation Park.
