Michael Asante joins Lorient for trials |

Kumasi Asante Kotoko’s Michael Asante has left for France where he would be hoping to impress official’s of second division side, Lorient.
Asante, who contributed to the porcupine warriors’ first professional league success, two seasons ago has failed to feature for the club this season.
The midfielder at the start of the season was locked in a protracted contractual talks with Kotoko but managed to reach an agreement some matches into the new season.
Michael Asante is the second Kotoko player to have left this week seeking greener pastures elsewhere.
Defender, Michael Ofosu Appiah was expected to have left Accra last night for Cairo to join Egyptian side, Ismailia now coached by former Kotoko coach, Hans Dieter Schmidt.
Jarvis Preprah, a management member of Kotoko confirmed the departure of Ofuso Appiah to Joy Sports.
The Kotoko PR head told Joy Sports that Michael Asante is been going in search of a club for sometime now in Europe.
