Stock market in slight gain
Accra, Sept. 19, GNA - The GSE All-Share Index made a slight gain in quiet trading on Monday with only two equities seeing price changes. The index closed higher by 0.58 points at 4,888.70 points from 4,888.12 points on Friday.
Change for the year-to-date ended at -28.09 per cent. There were two price changes, both positive.
Enterprise Insurance Company (EIC) continued its good run with a 10-cedi gain at 6,010 cedis and Guinness Ghana Brewery Limited (GGBL) made nine cedis at 7,210 cedis. Shares that changed hands were better at 123,200 from 92,800 on Friday.
Market capitalisation closed slightly better at 92,156.80 billion cedis from 92,155.06 billion cedis on Friday from 3,393.18 million issued shares.
