Foreign based players to play in tournament
Accra, Dec 26, GNA - Foreign-based Professional Ghanaian players currently on holidays will take on Liberty Professionals and Bravo Bravo in a special one-day tournament at the Dansoman Carl Reindolf Park on next Sunday, New Year''s Day.

The tournament, which is being organised by Samakan International, is to help attract investment from the George Best Management Limited, a sports entrepreneurial firm.

As part of the tournament, two officials of the firm, Nelson and Roger are already in the country and will make assessments, gather information and meet with stakeholders of sports in the country. Mr Kaku Dsane, Chief Executive Officer of Samakan in a release to the GNA Sports said it is hoped the visit of the sports firm would lead to the establishment of a football academy in the country. The Chief Executive said the tournament would be organised on an annual basis to ensure that it derives its intended objective. At stake will be a Gold Cup and some footballs to be presented to Bravo Bravo Sporting Club.Source:
