Ghana Support West move to refer Iran case to UNSC?
According to the Financial Times, Ghana was one of about 21 countries that supported France, Germany, UK and the United States’ demand that the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), immediately report Iran to the Security Council over its atomic programme.
In an article in today’s Financial times titled “”Russia scuppers EU strategy on Iran”, the paper wrote

“The EU and the US calculate that they have between 19 and 21 votes on the board - enough to carry a resolution - through the support of countries such as Australia, Japan, Canada, South Korea, Argentina, Singapore, Ecuador and Ghana.”
The European Union''s (EU) three main powers eventually dropped the demand, following opposition from Russia, China, India, South Africa and the Non-Aligned Movement.
